Self-moving irrigators have a low level of energy consumption, among other things. In addition, the machines apply less wear to the hoses because they are rolled up instead of being pulled in. Last but not least, these irrigators can move and irrigate in straight tracks and through soft curves. When these features are combined with the long hose, the most efficient field irrigation is ensured.
FM5500H is equipped with:
- Drawbar with double springs and swivelling nose wheel
- Hydraulic drive for optimal hose reeling
- High-pressure stop, with the option of low-pressure stop or a combination
- Optimal design for water flow
- Hydraulic brakes on the rear axle
It is possible to choose between two different control systems, Nortoft and FasterRain. The traditional and optimised Nortoft controller includes features such as speed regulation, pressure sensor and setting of the start time. The new controller system, FasterRain, allows for fleet management as well as monitoring and remote control via app and cloud. At the same time, zone irrigation, early stops and other features can be handled from the tractor.
In addition to the controllers, various accessories are also available, including a connection kit for hose reeling with the tractor, an extension pipe for the gun and a hoist kit with double wire. The latter is for older machines, as it is standard equipment on newer FM5500H irrigators.
