Self-moving irrigators have a low level of energy consumption, among other things. In addition, the machines apply less wear to the hoses because they are rolled up instead of being pulled in. Last but not least, these irrigators can move and irrigate in straight tracks and through soft curves. In this way, the hose length can be utilised in the best possible way to ensure efficient field irrigation.
It is possible to choose between two different control systems, Nørtoft and FasterRain. The traditional and optimised Nørtoft controller includes features such as speed regulation, pressure sensor and setting of the start time. The new controller system, FasterRain, allows for fleet management as well as monitoring and remote control via app and cloud. At the same time, zone irrigation, early stops and other features can be handled from the tractor.
In addition to the controllers, various accessories are also available, including an extension pipe for the gun and electrical brakes.
