Hose reel machines are well-suited for delicate row crops. These include crops such as vegetables and strawberries. This is primarily due to the fact that the sprinkler cart of the hose reel machine is retracted completely straight. Secondly, the sprinkler cart is very light and the track gauge is fully adjustable, making it gentle to the field and crops. Last but not least, the hose can be placed in the track instead of between the rows.
