Modern models build on 50-year-old technology from TL75

This year Fasterholt Maskinfabrik’s first, self-moving irrigator, also named TL75, turns 50.

A lot has changed both within technology and work methods since the first irrigator was produced in 1975. Nevertheless, TL75 has laid the foundation for all subsequent models of self-moving irrigators and is thus the basis for the entire history of the company. A history, several Danish agricultural magazines such as Maskinbladet and Effektiv Landbrug have depicted due to the anniversary.

Celebrating the anniversary

On the occasion of TL75 turning 50, and that the company expanded last year with a new building, Fasterholt Maskinfabrik throws an Open House Friday March 14 from 11.30 to 18.00 at Ejstrupvej 22 in Fasterholt.

– We celebrate the anniversary of TL75, as our first, self-moving irrigator holds a special place in our hearts. At the same time, we celebrate the completion of our new 3,500 square meter building containing two production halls and offices for the administration, says Managing Director, Rikke Kjær Aslak.

Fasterholt Maskinfabrik has experienced an increased demand for irrigators during the last couple of years. Consequently, the company has launched various initiatives, including an optimization project focusing on the production flow together with the construction of new facilities for the development department and warehouse storage.

– Whether we will use the TL75 technology in the future models as well, I dare not guess. The only thing I know is that this doesn’t end here. We at Fasterholt Maskinfabrik are ready for at least fifty years more with self-moving irrigators, underlines Rikke Kjær Aslak.
