Fasterholt Maskinfabrik was founded in 1958 and is a family-owned company. Today, the company is run by the third generation. Experience passed down through the generations and a focus on quality are two of our main characteristics. The irrigators have proven their worth because the initial models are still working today.

We have developed a wide range of self-moving irrigators and hose reel machines which cover a wide range of needs and industries.
FM4550 and FM4550H
The difference between the two models is that the H model is equipped with a hydraulic drive, whereas the other one has a belt drive.

The gun carriage of the irrigator has three wheels and is retracted completely straight. The retraction speed is controlled mechanically.

Get off to a good start with our expert guidance
An irrigator is a big investment that will invariably pay off if used and maintained correctly. Our Fasterholt irrigators last for decades, and our high-technology, future-proofed control systems ensure good performance levels in the long term. It would be a shame to not maximise the possibilities of this machinery. Therefore, we have trained our dealers to be able to provide both an introduction, when the irrigator is started for the first time, and to carry out subsequent winter maintenance.

Irrigators for various purposes
At Fasterholt Maskinfabrik, we manufacture two types of irrigators: self-moving irrigators and hose reel machines. While the self-moving irrigators are able to move and irrigate in straight tracks and soft curves, the sprinkler cart on the hose reel machine is pulled in as straight as an arrow. For this reason, the hose reel machines are well-suited to sensitive row crops such as vegetables and strawberries, and the self-moving irrigators are able to utilise the full hose length in the best way possible, ensuring a highly efficient field irrigation process.
